Positive: The Tokiwa Hotel was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. It is a very traditional Ryokan style hotel. The Staff were incredible and went out of their way to make you feel special at every interaction. Everyday they gave gifts of little meals in your room, mochi and glasses of wine on the Karrin lounge. The rooms were exquisite. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel multiple times and found the private dining booths and absolute decadent and incredible experience. We loved everything about our stay.

Negative: Nothing, it was perfect.

Positive: This hotel was amazing and the staff exceeded our expectations! They were so lovely and patient with us, happy to make conversation and help with recommendations along with sharing pamphlets for food and attractions nearby! They even complimented my japanese even though I only know a little. We enjoyed changing and wearing Yukata around the Hotel. The Garden and Koi pond was beautiful and our room blew us away. It was almost the same size as our entire house! Highly recommend staying here and we would happily come back in the future!

Negative: Reccomend taking a taxi if you are staying long and have lots of luggage, we only took 1 suitcase as we were only staying 1 night so we took the bus which wasnt hard. And unfortunately due to our tattoos we couldnt use the public onsen but there are private rooms with onsens, just talk to the hotel when making a booking. We didnt mind missing out as we understand their customs and we werent staying long anyway. They were still lovely and understanding about it too!
